The Wedding- a book showing a build up to a multicultural wedding in the 1996. The Wedding was created by Nick Waplington and was a follow up from the book Living Room.
The book setup is very plain and simple, which I think how this type of book should be layded out. It a page of writing at the start and a page at the end. The writing explains the book and about the family and Nick Waplingotns relationship with the family. The writing was written by Irving Welsh and herself and Nick put together this book. All the photographs are taken by Nick Waplington and have a strong warm look the them. All the photos are based around the days leading up to the weeding and the wedding therefore, the adults look excited but kind of stressed and all the children look very excited. All the photos are in colour, I think if they were in black and white, it would give off a different feeling from the pictures. I find this book very interesting because it shows how the family are, they all seem very relaxed but some look stressed.
